Industry Talk - The Reality Of The Dream is a in person/online educational conversation and workshop with a hands on experience that engenders participants who desire to become knowledgeable about the entertainment industry. Performers, songwriters, producers, composers, athletes, gamers, photographers/videographers, graphic designers, YouTubers etc… as well as aspiring business entrepreneurs are engaged. We dive into the basics of becoming effective in the arts and emerging technologies for use in self-expression, communication and social change while also, learning how to build a professional life in the industry that’s rooted in reality. His professional music industry career began in 1996 when his singer/songwriter clients had the chance to collaborate with 4x Grammy Nominated, 3x ASCAP Award Winner producer Steve “Silk” Hurley and Marc “M-Doc Williams on Chantay Savage’s album “I Will Survive (Doin’ It My Way) released on RCA Records in 1996. The Album peaked at #14 on the Billboard Top R&B Album chart. Among the noteworthy dance/pop crossover artist for which Hurley/Williams is credited to produce/remixed for are Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Debbie Gibson, Jennifer Lopez, CeCe Peniston, and Brandy, to mention a few.
In late 1997 Kenneth signed R&B boy band ”Entourage” to an independent deal that led them to the Top 100 Billboard charts, Top 100 Hot Singles & Top 100 Billboard sales chart with a bullet in 1998 for several weeks. They toured the country, appeared on B.E.T's soundstage, The Ricki Lake Show until tragedy struck with the death of one of the groups member that lead to the disbandment of the group.
Trans Continental Record, known for the development of boy bands BackStreet Boys, NSYNC, O-Town, TV show “Making The Band” and Aaron Carter borrowed his talents for a short stint as Director of Development for new artist/talent scouting in the Chicago market.
For several years K.B. held the title as Manager of Production and Manager of Label Operations for Creators Way Associated Labels and Pub company The Legendary Traxster, Inc. based in Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angles. Responsible for managing “The Legendary Traxster” a multi-platinum songwriter/producer, 2x grammy nominee and his artist roster. Grammy nominated for Album of the year & RIAA Certified 6x Platinum for Mariah Carey’s “Emancipation of MiMi”. Also, Grammy nominated for Best Rap Duo, RIAA Certified Platinum single “My Chick Bad” by Ludacris ft. Nicki Minaj. 5x ASCAP rhythm & soul awards winner for Twista’s “Wetter” & Ludacris ft. Nicki Minaj “My Chick Bad”.
